Elizabeth is an educational psychologist and Wellness Practitioner situated in the West Rand, Roodepoort, Gauteng. She registered with the HPCSA in 2006 as a psychologist and has been a registered psychometrist since 1997. Elizabeth taught on different levels for eight years whilst studying psychology. She offers a variety of assistance to parents, children, teachers and companies. She works as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside nurses, social workers, education professionals, psychiatrists, speech and occupational therapists. She assists in treating learning problems or mental health issues. She is fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans).
Learning problems is a worldwide phenomenon, prevalent in all cultures, races and throughout the economic social spectrum. About 7% of all learners experience a form of learning problems. It can thus be estimated that in a school of about 800 learners +- 56 learners will experience learning problems.
